I bought a Sony Vaio PCV-RS430G about 3 years ago and I did not create the recovery disk. I added another hard drive and had the partition erased from Circuit City about 2 years ago. When Circuit City erased the partition they erased everything that came on the computer originally, except for the drivers. That hasn?t bothered me because I have another pc that I use for multimedia. The computer is really starting to slow down and I want to upgrade the operating system that I have on it (I want to go from XP Home to XP Pro.). The disk I have for XP Pro. requires a complete erase of the computer. I want to get the drivers for the internal components so when the computer is erased I can re-install them. Is there any way I can locate and get the original drivers off? If there isn?t a way I can do this, any suggestions on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated.
