Question

How do I get my Vizio E472VL to show full (tennis) scores?

Aug 28, 2013 7:36AM PDT

No matter what settings I've tried, I can't see full player names/box score information, whether on ESPN2, YES etc.

Did it ever work?

I'm seeing a lot of bad content today. They have banners galore and bad positioning of content. Maybe nothing is wrong but Vizio claims they have support on setup. Is the content good on other sets?

Time to make it a warranty issue.

And one last idea. See if they updated the TV firmware.

Are you looking at websites for ESPN, YES etc
Aug 28, 2013 8:53AM PDT

or are you watching the ESPN, YES, etc channels on your TV

If the former, check out page 46 of the manual and make sure that the H & V settings are correct for your screen.

If the latter, check page 16 and make sure that you are using the Normal setting for the screen aspect ratio and NOT the zoom.

Second clarification.

When I asked if other sets worked, I didn't make it clear that the other set must be connected to the SAME SOURCE.

One owner spent weeks and in the end it was the cable decoder box all along.
