Question

How do I get my printer online

by abuelitojd / October 20, 2014 3:21 AM PDT

I have an HP Deskjet 3740 printer that is offline and won't print. The power light flashes continually. I looked at the HP support section and tried to follow the instructions. Nothing worked. I found another 3740 on craigslist which said it was never used and bought it. Same results! I am using an HP G70 notebook, with 3 GB of memory and Windows 8.1 OS. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Did you try uninstalling the software, reboot and reinstall?

If the troubleshooting in http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=406455&spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c01082964-34%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken doesn't solve the issue, it's time for a new printer (generally, that is cheaper than having it repaired, if it's out of warranty).

I don't think that connecting it to another PC will help.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
