Turn off wi-fi until needed. Bluetooth also. Cut down on downloading. Cut down on playing movies. Cut down on sending pictures with messages.

Answer
A couple of things you can try.

2 things that are notorious for killing the iphones battery life:

The display brightness and push notifications.

Try turning your display brightness down to the lowest one that you can live with and turn off Auto-Brightness.

Turn off all push notifications that you could careless about.

Give those two a try and see if battery life increases.

Good luck!
