How do I get a decent cell phone?

by forfun34 / October 22, 2007 2:47 PM PDT

Im 17 and live in oklahoma city. My dad and mom have horrible credit so they can't get me a phone. I have a job and would be willing to pay a cell phone bill, but I don't want a pre-paid phone. What do I do to get a phone with decent minutes and unlimited text? Also I'm trying to get a nice phone, not some piece with a tiny screen, no camera, and pretty much no cool features.

You do realize you can't sign up with a contract under your name because you are under 18?? You could always go the prepaid route. What are you willing to pay per month for service??

to have a contract, you must be 18 and have credit. seeing as you have none, you cannot sign up for a contract. pre-paid is your best bet. you can also get a good phone with pre-paid too...
and uh, pre-paid users dont have the luxury of unlimited text messaging..unless you want to get a sidekick or something

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
