Question

How do I find virus on my computer when it won't let AVG run

Oct 3, 2011 4:41AM PDT

I have a Dell Vostro 1500 labtop and I keep getting unwanted pop ups, Generic shutdowns, and no virus software will run. What can I do?

I assume this is Windows, but I don't know which version.

But options;

1] Try running your anti-virus in the Windows Safe Mode

2] Download, install, run to update then run a full scan with the free versions of Malwarebytes Anti-malware and SUPERAntiSpyware.

See if that helps.
