Question

How do I find the Calendar & time management list

Nov 25, 2013 1:54AM PST

When looking for alternatives like Things for Mac the page shows "Product ranking: #5 in Calendar & Time Management Software". How to I find that product ranking? I'd like to start from the ranking it self instead of wandering around hoping to find the #1 product - but searching for it doesn't help - and even clicking on the "Calendar & Time Management Software" takes me to a HUGE list that has all kinds of none related products listed. It would be a huge help if such a list exsisted and had the ratings/comments etc showing the current version instead of finally realizing I have been reading a 2011 review! Anyone know how to find the current ranking??

What did you use before?

This area is a huge one. Some need time tracking to charge a job for, some will be fine with an Outlook Calendar and well, there are so many variations on this theme that I can't help here.

But for me, the Outlook calendar does fine.

How do I find the Calendar & Time Management List
Nov 26, 2013 6:32AM PST

Hi Bob - Thanks for the response. My bad - I failed to communicate! I am trying to just find the actual Product Ranking in many of CNET's product reviews' left hand column. For example the product "Things For Mac" shows "Product ranking: #5 in Calendar & Time Management List". MY logic was that if I clicked on the blue "Calendar & Time Management List" I would be taken ot The List. Well my logic was WRONG! I get hundreds of listings (many have NOTHING to do with it) and try as I might I still cannot find any product that is listed as #1. I would have thought that somewhere it would be helpful to have The List. I, for one, would like to start at #1 and work my way down the list to try and find a fit. Bob - I am not trying to be smart and only hope I was a little less "unclear" this time. Wink Y? N?

Ahh. Try this.

Find one of the CNET articles and email the author with such a question. My list is rarely based on such review rankings. Example? LG and Samsung are not being forthcoming with privacy statements and are peeking at stuff they shouldn't yet those issues are rarely in any review.
