Question

How do I find out what's eating all my SSD memory?

Jul 15, 2016 11:15AM PDT

My SSD's memory keeps going down to 0 bytes even though I don't download anything at all? How do I find out what's eating all my memory on my SSD? I think whatever it is it's also on my HDD also because the memory for that keeps going down too.

There are many prior answers.

I use TREESIZE and my favorite is to search for files that were created in the last day. (That's a basic Windows skill so I stop short of how.)

I have run into folk with those 60GB SSDs and given I can get 120GB for 33 bucks my answer is to upgrade.

I was thinking about upgrading also but I have no idea where to start on how to install and transfer everything and the boot stuff on the old SSD to the new one. I'll check out TREESIZE though thanks for the response.
