How do I enable Java on IE?

Aug 22, 2005 2:42AM PDT

I'm running XP Home with service pack 2 installed.

I thought Java was already installed, but I guess it got "turned off" somewhow. See the following message from a recent website I visited:

"VisualCalc applications require that your browser be Java-enabled. This VisualCalc application will not run because Java is NOT enabled in your browser. Please enable Java in your browser."

So, how do I "turn it back on?"

It just so happens that this particular website will not work using Firefox or Netscape. Thanks.

W!

W, If you have Java installed go into Internet Options/Advanced tab and checkmark under Java "Use Java etc.", click Apply/Ok and restart your computer. The link below is a Java test site you may want to try.
