Resolved Question

How do I download Explorer 9 for my Windows 7 PC

Apr 20, 2012 1:15AM PDT

I have two PCs (this one that has Windows XP and another that has Windows 7). Accidentally deleted Explorer 9 on newer PC. Tried installing Explorer 7 but it isn't supported by Win 7. Any suggestions?

Try again. That doesn't work.

I guess you'd have to actually try your suggestion to realize it doesn't work. I'm in Canada, but assume you'd have the same problem. My PC that has Internet working is an XP, so visiting Microsoft.com will not allow me to even see a download file for anything beyond what my computer can use...i.e. Version 8 for XP. If I had Windows 7, I could get to the downloads for Explorer 9...but then I'd have to still have a browser to do that. Savvy?

Firefox works, thanks

Reading between the 5 words, I downloaded Firefox on the XP PC. Copied it to a flashdrive. Took it to the Win 7 PC. Copied it to the hard drive and installed Firefox. At that point I realized I don't care for Explorer 9 anyway, so am sticking with Mozilla Firefox. Thanks.
