1.) Deleting usually implies manually removing files; it's recommended that you uninstall the software via the Windows Control Panel.

2.) When Windows Explorer stops working, it's usually the result of a Windows glitch, malfunctioning third-party software that's integrated into Windows Explorer (something TechTracker doesn't do), or a performance issue. Although possible, I doubt that TechTracker is the source of that issue; I'd troubleshoot that issue first.

3.) TechTracker doesn't report errors; it reports software that appears to be out-of-date. Since most manufacturers pre-install third-party software on their computers, it's not uncommon to find more than just Windows out of date when you unbox your new computer.
