Microsoft's tools to do this have resulted in far too much loss. I won't give it another word. Read https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-create-a-full-system-backup-in-windows-10/ but I find most folk can never restore.
-> System Image Backup is no more: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4034825/features-that-are-removed-or-deprecated-in-windows-10-fall-creators-up
I'd look at using Acronis True Image 2019 and if you must try free, use AOMEI.
I made one back in the day but when I tried to use it it wasn't like back in the day when you put in the Windows repair disk... (It's been a while I don't remember the confusion.) I know you burn it onto a DVD but once it's made and you need to use it to repair the system how do you do it?
(Please if you would be so kind as to give instructions from boot up until the end of the process (or if you have a link to an article explaining it that is amazing also.)[/u]
