I was trying to find a way to generate a false search history with dates and websites of my choosing and have been unsuccessful in my attempts so far. Any advice?

Is there some random browser that gives you the option to edit your search history files. I'm thinking maybe Firefox?

- What exactly do you mean with "search history files"?
- How do you read those files now?
- What do you want to edit?

That depends on the browser. Each browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge, Opera) has its own history. And "search history" might be stored in the cloud computers of your search engine (Google or Bing).

Keeping in mind you can't alter Google and Facebook logs.
