Answer
If it is Windows to Windows

then it can't be done.I don't know about Mac or Linux, etc.

For Windows, just reinstall the application onto the new machine and copy over all the files you created.

You mentioned a keygen. We see that word used for installing pirated software and adding a false serial number. If that is the case with you then this discussion halts here and gets locked. It contravenes Forum Policy.

Thanks for the quick reponse & clarification. i am a novice & not quite versed on the definitions or all the do's & dont's (hence the simplicity of my question). i only want reputable programs from reputable sources, and will remedy the situation immediately. Thanks for helping & educating me.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
