How do I copy a DVD-RAM to a DVD-R?

Jan 8, 2005 4:23PM PST

I record music videos and movies from television onto DVD-RAM disks. I love it because I can set the timer, then edit out commercials and all other unwanted material.
However, DVD-RAM disks are expensive, so I intend to use the super-multi drive on my Qosmio to burn them onto DVD-R disks.
I used InterVideo WinDVD Creator to copy a DVD-RAM movie to a DVD-R disk. But the disk only plays on my computer. What went wrong?
Also, Does anyone know what software to use to copy DVD-RAM to DVD-R?

Thanks!

If its a Video DVD, try DVDSHRINK since it will remaster and fix up minor errors along the way.
