How do I convert my win. 10 Installtion disk to usb?

Feb 17, 2018 9:18AM PST

Hi, I purchased an installation disk more than a month ago and have a problem. The installation is a disc, not usb. The computer I'm trying to install win 10 on does NOT have a disc drive, therefore I cannot install windows 10. I was wondering if I could convert it to usb?

It's not required.

Because Microsoft lets you create a W10 Install and Repair USB Stick with the "Microsoft Media Creation Kit" (see google) you don't need to convert this. You just use your activation code when required.

If the target machine had run W10 before and was activated, you don't need a code at all.

Well discussed so I pause here.
