How do I convert my DVDs for use with PC Share Manager???

Feb 7, 2009 11:20PM PST

Can someone please tell me what program to download and what settings to use to convert a DVD to a format the LN52A750 will play? I've tried Handbrake to covert to MPEG4, no luck. I've tried DIVX 7.0 for Divx... no luck. I've converted the same DVD no less tha 6 times and it won't play. Please help.

I can't help necessarily with a ripping program, as commercial DVDs are usually encoded so that they can't be ripped.

However, the formats for any video have to fit within the parameters listed in the owner's manual for both file type, resolution and audio codec.

Here's a quick list for your review. Hope that helps.

I've read the documentation. My DVD collection is stored on hard disk in VIDEO_TS folders and the copy protection has already been REMOVED. The problem is, I can't find a program that will produce an output file with parameters you've mentioned. Since they are your requirements surely you can tell me how to produce a compatible video file?
