I can't help necessarily with a ripping program, as commercial DVDs are usually encoded so that they can't be ripped.
However, the formats for any video have to fit within the parameters listed in the owner's manual for both file type, resolution and audio codec.

Can someone please tell me what program to download and what settings to use to convert a DVD to a format the LN52A750 will play? I've tried Handbrake to covert to MPEG4, no luck. I've tried DIVX 7.0 for Divx... no luck. I've converted the same DVD no less tha 6 times and it won't play. Please help.
