I'm not saying there are no other issues but you have the wrong version of Windows to connect to the usual server.

PS. I'm surprised this work's IT staff failed this simple an issue.
I'm trying to access my work server by using the work's wireless connection. Our wireless router is statically set to the same address as our server. Anybody can connect to the internet. I've been told that I should also be able to log in to the server using our secure username/password and access the files but I can't figure out how to do that. Any suggestions?
