Hello,

I just bought a new printer and I would like to know how to clean the old one of any documents before I get rid of it?

Well, you didn't state what model# printer you have, that *MAY* make a difference. Any typical PC printer won't have any data being retained, certainly nothing to worry about. The only area I could even think any data maybe present is one that uses a "fax function" which would at least have some basic phone# and heading of source, like XYZ business or Bill's man-cave. If such is the case, usually enter the setting area and hit the "default or clear" and return to default setting, thus removing anything there as well any other possible setting.

However, your PC will have any "installed pgms/functions" that are part of it's initial install. Make sure to "de-install" or remove any such s/w. Again, if any personal data is there(not likely) it will be removed.

until you have no more choices to "make a copy" of something that was already on it.
