How do I change login info?

Mar 1, 2005 3:57AM PST

I have changed ISP's. I see login and register options, but no way to change the info so I can login with my current email address. If I try to register again it just tells me that someone with that name is already registered. (meaning me at my old email address)

Top left where it says, "Welcome Scott Swinyard", click on "Edit Profile". At the top there click on
"Update e-mail address".

What don't you see? Perhaps you

have a outdated link. Click here

Or, could be your resolution settings that keep you from seeing the whole screen. Do you see the commercials at the right, but not the CNet information on the left sidebar that contain the "Welcome, Scott Swinyard"? Try sliding the horizontal bar back & forth at bottom.

(NT) (NT) No. I'm just blind. Got it now. Thanks.

I clicked update email address and...

it just took me to the regular existing users or new users sign on\register page, so I entered my info the way I wanted it, and it said it was invalid the same way it normally does if I enter my newer addy instead of the old one when I try to login.

Somethings funny. Is it me again?

Could be you are still registering as a new menber.

Try this: Log out of CNet and disconect from CNet. Come back into CNet, Login in using your old email address, if you checked remember password it will automatically put it in with *****, if not key in your old password. Ok, now being logged, in come to this forum, click at the top left where it says "Welcome Scott...." on to "Edit Profile". When at your profile click on to "Update e-mail address". This will take you to:
"Scott Swinyard, manage your account". It will only have:

First Name: a rectangle block to change

Last Name: a rectangle block to change

User Name: No block to change

Email Address: a rectangle block to change

Check the box..."Remember my e-mail and password for automatic log in."

Then click on the box "Update My Profile"

(That is all on that page)
