How do I carry a 46" LCD TV

Feb 8, 2009 10:08PM PST

I need to move my 46" Samsung LCD TV to a new TV stand. What is the best way to lift and carry the TV to another location? Thanks.

Carefully, of course!

stouto,

I would keep it upward, in the same manner it was shipped. I don't recommend laying it down on the ground (face or back).

Does that answer what you're asking?

When lifting/carrying the tv, should we place both hands on the bottom of the base or place one hand on the base and the other at the top of the screen. Thanks again.

Panel

stouto,

I wouldn't carry the unit by the base. The base is attached, often to the main television, by a few screws. So naturally, that's not the re-enforced backbone of the unit. The actual panel is re-enforced, so you'll want to carry the television by the bezel.

I recommend two people and clean hands. Happy
