How do I backup my Firefox Bookmark menu/toolbar?

It keeps either deletes my bookmarks or, leaves the bookmark but erases the location information stored in them. and i need to be able to know i can restore them. Also is there an easy way to import the firefox bookmarks into internet explorer?

That sentence doesn't make sense.

Have you tried Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks, Import and Backup button? From that same area you can export the bookmarks as HTML, save them anywhere, then have IE import them.

that backs up all Firefox bookmarks, settings, etc. It can be downloaded at and is free. A simple restore of the backup will put you right back were you were... saves lots of time figuring out your previous settings.

I find it useful in case the browser is lost, becomes corrupt or a re-install of the operating system is needed. Just a suggestion... been used by me for years and never let me down.
