Each carrier may use different steps and then Android menus tend to change over time.
I'd just call your carrier's support to have them walk you through this one.
I have just bought a new mobile for my wife. It is an Alcatel U3. The activation instructions are limited in the extreme. I have found that I have to include a password for the activation. Can this be my or my wife's or does it need something special?
