how do i access disk mangement in win x.p? i need to>

I need to get at the disk management console as my dvd writers / drive letters are coruppted can somebody help me? please i,ve tried uninstalls! and stuff! i gotta relign the lettters to include e and f thanks guys
merry x-mas! please explain exact steps! thanks! parrotlover

thanks guys i found it and it defineitly solved my dvd writers not being recogninized or working! cool

The answer above is the way to get to disk mgmt...

the other thing is .... it's helpful to leave room between the last HDD letter and your CD-DVD drive letters. If you add an HDD or change partitioning schemes...the CD-DVD letters will almost always change. You can prevent them from automatically changing by assigning them to say drive letters "R" and "S" where there are plenty of unused drives letters to allow for new HDDs or more/less partitions on the drive(s) you have.
