How many partitions on the disk?
What filesystem(s): NTFS, FAT32, HFS (Apple), Linux?
Kees
I have problem with that external disc because it isn't seen by my TV Samsung ES 6800. Any ideas?

It is 1 partition of NTFS, but I have tried another disc with 2 partitions: NTFS and FAT and was the same effect
USB 2.0 in TV and in disc, cable USB 2.0
The manual is pretty clear about prep and use but once I hit the power recommendation I stopped reading and will nod that the USB port power is limited. Some consumers will write that it works in some PC or laptop but this is a TV, not a laptop or PC.
Try it the recommended ways and if that fails, you call Samsung in your country to see how they want to proceed.

"we
recommend using a USB HDD that
has a power adapter."
The goflex does not have such so it's not a safe bet it will work.
