It appears that it's deep in the bowels of the OS now, embedded in an IIS patch.
Not well documented except that only IE knows what to do with http://google.com\

My friend installing IIS on my Windows XP pro PC, then after about a month, he uninstall it.
Now I have a problem with 'forward slash' thing that has been posted on:

Before going to reformat/reinstall the hole system, I would like to know and try, if there are a remnant of IIS file that should be remove - and How --?
