How can I stop windows keep on updating itself and downloading updates, something always goes wrong when this happens.
And how can I stop it keep wanting to send error messages back to microsoft?

?To disable Windows auto update: Control Panel>Automatic Updates. Make your choice.

?To stop sending error report back to MS: At Start>Run, type in services.msc. OK. Highlight(i.e. select) Error reporting....., right click then choose 'Stop'. Alternatively, at Run>msconfig - Services tab, uncheck error reporting.

This is usually an early warning sign of a deeper issue, such as one malware or virus related.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
