How can I print context only?

I have found a lot of very good "how to's" in these forums, some of which I need to print due to length and frequency of use.
I cannot seem to figure out how to print just the context of the mesage!
I have my printer and software set to not print background and this doesnt seem to get the results im looking for.
I've tried to copy or highlight and print the message but I still get the whole page, adds, info and all.
I need to only print what your are now reading. I dont need everything you see on the screen right now.
I have copied and sent to my email and printed from there but there must be an easier way.

Win2000 Pro w/HP PSC all in one 950

Many thanks,

Ken, I Normally Do It Like This...

In reply to: How can I print context only?

First I highlight the text that I want printed..Then I click on "File" in the upper left, then choose "Print". When the "Print" window loads, I place a dot/tick in the "Selection" box, then click on OK to start the printing process. Only the "selected" text should print.

On those few occasions that this doesn't work, I use the method mentioned by AussiePete above. I copy the text to a Word document, then print from there.

Hope this helps.
