How can i password protect XP

Hello gentelman,i am new to XP and am wandering how i might password protect my computer on start up? In outher word's i dont want to see any user logins befor a password is entered! Thanx

You can set a password in the BIOS which will prevent the PC from booting.

This is not specific to XP but a feature of most motherboards.

Most Mother Boards/BIOS support a varity/combination of security for Power Up, Keyboard Lock, Hard disk Lock, etc. What you need is a 'Power Up' password. Thus can be done at BIOS. Depending on your computer model, you go into BIOS by pressing on or a combination of keys, e.g. Delete, of of the F Keys, Alt+ another key, etc. Most computer show what you press when booting up, just before the Windows splash screen comes up. At BIOS, go to 'Security', 'System settings' or such...
