Re: online store

Things to do:
1. Determine what products to sell.
2. See you have them on stock or can order them via dropshipping (meaning the maker sends them to your customer, but you will be responsible for support and warranty nonetheless, because you sold it).
3. Find a place to run ("host") your webshop. Some companies offer a ready-made package, including software (for example: you can start your own shop at ebay). Others require you to implement your own webshop, either from some template or with custom-made software.
4. Find customers. Promote your website. If you have a product people need, you have a fair price, a good site and an excellent customer service, and 1 million people have your shop bookmarked as their favorite, you'll be very fine. Still, this is the most difficult part.

Here is a link for a free consultation with a webmaster. The company not only has designers, graphic artists and programmers on staff, they also have professional marketers who can help jump start your online biz.
