How can I log out of my Netflix account on Smart TV?

When I got my Smart TV I signed up to Netflix for a month or two and so logged into the app with my info. I have since stopped using Netflix but every now and then someone (flatmate, friend) will watch something and then I get charged £6!

I cannot find an option anywhere to log out of the app.

I have searched loads online and by far the most common answer is to use the smart remote and press this sequence when in the app : up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-up-up-up-up. Millions of people have said it works for them. I have tried it millions of times. It doesn't work for me Sad

Does anyone know another solution?? I can't even delete the app itself, there is no option to..... Sad

Why isn't this in a MENU? Very odd ideas from over a decade ago!

OK, there is another way but I defer to SAMSUNG SUPPORT on how. I'll give you the basics but defer to SAMSUNG HOW TO DO IT!

-> Change your region or country and then on the next boot all will be removed. Then change it back to your country and the apps will reload and you are logged out of Netflix.

Yep, I did wonder how such a vital thing that so many people want/need to do is not a menu option!

Anyway, thanks for the method - I will give it a go tonight. Seems pretty drastic (not sure what other things it will reset), but worth a go with lack of anything else!

P.S. When you say "defer to Samsung support.." are you saying I should go and find this? The closest thing I could find to any Samsung forum was this... :-/ I haven't tried looking for any phone numbers (yet)...

Log Out of Netflix Account

If you cannot locate Settings or the Gear icon:
From within the Netflix application, use the arrows on your remote to enter the following sequence: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.
Select Sign out or Deactivate.
You will now be given the option to sign in as a different Netflix member.

It's easy to overlook

Go to sign in. You will see that that email is already preset and it won't allow to delete or alter, but if you look at the keypad there are 2 buttons at the bottom. One say previous and one says next. Click on previous and it will bring up a page that allows you to alter the email address and enter the new one. After entering the new email click next, then enter your password and voila your new account is set.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
