How can I install OS on SCSI RAID hard drive?

I have these these hard drives on SCSI, it does'nt appear on the primary drive or slave on the cmos, but it appears on SCSI select utility. When I try to boot from cd and install the Windows XP the drive cannoot be detected.

Did you check the literature that came with the drive? It should specify a bootable SCSI ID, often zero. Also check CMOS option, you want to boot SCSI before IDE.

Said SCSI system should have some drivers on floppy.

Then you boot the XP SP2 CD, and use the F6 key to feed it the floppy.

You can't imagine how many people today will stumble on this one.
