FPS Improvement
Aug 15, 2009 5:35AM PDT

The easiest way to increase your FPS in World of Warcraft (and any other game really) is to upgrade your PC. More RAM, a faster processor, it's all good.

If you don't want to go down the line of buying anything, try closing a few things you are not using before you start playing the game. Close any and all IM clients, Internet Browsers, and anything else that may be running. If you have to, you can turn off an anti virus program as well. Turn it back on when you're done playing though.

You have to upgrade

I agree with the suggestions, upgrade your system to increase FPS. Nothing beats that.

Update

You need to update your OS. If it is running with an older service pack then update it, and also check that you are getting enough RAM. By the way you can try to play Glory Of Fellowland. It will take very less space, and will run quite smooth and fast. Rest depends on your machine's performance.

- config your game graphic level to lowest
- upgrade your hardware
- for online game, connection speed is required

Ram

From you system specs I would recommend getting more ram. 2gig is nothing for wow, especially if you run many mods. Get at least 4 gigs. Your vid card is great, wow isnt very taxing for the video card. Also i highly highly recommend buying one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833188002. Makes a big difference in the lag that is experienced in raids. I bought one and love it. Good luck to you.
