How Can I get Exploerer to Show Folder Sizes?

The subject sounds really newbie since I know you can either hover over a folder in Explorer or right click, click properties and get the folder size - but what I want is a fix or utility that allows me to see multiple folders, ala Explorer, and see their size displayed - the way it does for individual files on the DETAILS setting.

I downloaded Explorer Plus but have not seen a way to make it do this.

Please advise and thank you in advance.

I may be way off base.

In windows explorer; Click on view, click on Status Bar.

Information on a selected Folder or file will be presented at the bottom of the window in Windows Explorer.

I checked that and it didn't help - thanks anyway. Plus, I think that even if it did, I would still be checking folder sizes one folder at a time and I want to see multiple folder sizes displayed.

"I want to see multiple folder sizes displayed"

This is what I missed.

Someone else will have to pick up on this.

By asking the same question several times, in several different Forums, gets fustrating to those of us, or AT LEAST ME, who go to the effort of answering your question in detail, only to find out that you are missing it because of the multiple posts.

Chuck - I apologize for my forum faux paus and I thank you for not only alerting me to it but for also supplying an excellent set of solutions to my problem.

I cross posted because when I had posted on one single forum in the past, I found that many times I recieved no answers. In the future I'll refrain from doing so.

Try i.disk

In reply to: How Can I get Exploerer to Show Folder Sizes?

Easy to find utility: http://www.google.com/search?&q=download%20i.disk

I wouldn't advice using it to delete things. Stick to Explorer for that. But it's a good tool to see where your disc space is going. I run it a few times a year and each time find some things to delete.

Hope this helps.
