Question

How can I fix the bright dot on my new LED TV

Mar 1, 2018 4:57PM PST

I just purchased a "SuperSonic 1080p 24-inch LED Widescreen HDTV" from ebay a couple of days ago. I just received it today, but when i plugged it in and turned it on, there's a blinking dot (blinks red green and blue) on the middle right top corner (I'll attach a photo to the post). It changes colors and visibility when i put pressure on and around it. How can I fix this?
(I'm pretty sure it's the TV itself and not the tv mode (hdmi, vga, dvi, etc). The dot is still there when I plug and unplug the hdmi cable).
Thanks for any help.

If you get a defect you exchange it. Yes, there are youtubes about pixel exercising, rubbing the area but you won't read me advising this.

...use a permanent black magic marker and put a black dot over it. I had a monitor once with three of those at top of screen. I named them Mercury, Mars and Earth. Wink
