How can i develop sites like www.slickdeals.net

I want to develop a deals website, similar to http://www.slickdeals.net,

Few thing i have already finalized: - Development environment - wordpress for front end, myBB for community development. - Language: PHP

The points that i am missing: - Database/Data Feed for Price comparsion - Database/Data feed for best deals

Which Shopping web sites are providing product price and best deals via API?

any small help would be highly appreciated.

Since such website make their money from their clients (referrals and such) they are unlikely to see other sites using their data and getting money out of it.
Moreover, this is very local, and you don't mention your country. You wouldn't be interested in a deal with the leading Dutch comparison site kieskeurig.nl, would you?

Targetting india or US

Either US or India,

I am interested in knowing how those sites getting product price and deal information from all shopping sites.

In slickdeals, you can find deals from US.

In indiadime, and desidime, you can find deals from india.

But, the idea is same, somehow, they are getting the deal/price details. I wanted to understand that logic.

The three options:
1. The companies they link to provide the data via an API.
2. They do screen scraping from the sites they link to.
3. Manually. They employ people that scan those sites.
