I don't know what LaunchPad you use but the one I use comes with Lion and Mountain Lion and is part of the Mac OS X Operating system.
It is not a separate app that I downloaded from the App store.
As to it not working with ML, mine works fine as I would expect it to as part of the OS supplied by Apple.
Where did you get your version of LaunchPad from?
P
When I upgraded to OS X Lion I quickly began to use the LaunchPad feature and I like it but the only problem is it shows basically every application, helper apps, etc. I want to keep these out of LaunchPad and have some control over which applications show up there or at least have it only show the full applications, not simple helper apps. I was able to post here back then and was told about an app called Launchpad-control.prefPanel. I installed it on all my Macs and it did exactly what I needed.
The problem is now I'm upgrading to Mountain Lion and tonight i went to the website for LaunchPad-control figuring I may need to get an updated version for Mountain Lion. The developer has not updated and instead discontinued it saying that it has major problems under Mountain Lion. For this reason I believe i should uninstall it from my computer before I upgrade to Mountain Lion.
The question is is there any way to have control over what shows up in LaunchPad or to have only main applications show up? I am hoping that Mountain Lion has some new features to give this option to LaunchPad. If not, is there another app available that does something similar to LaunchPad-control.
Thank you in advance for your help.
