How can I change the recents apps view type of a Galaxy S6?

Hello everyone!

I've searched and searched and couldn't find anything about how to customize the view and animation type of the Recent Apps/Multitasking screen of a Galaxy S6, Nova Launcher also seems not to have anything for it. It shows all the windows in perspective fading in the distance and I would like to replace it with a simple 2D list view. Can anyone help me do this? Can it be done without rooting?

But it may be possible to change your app switcher out. Example search:
