My oldest email database is a few GB in size so syncing that is going to eat a big percentage of my mobile's storage and have me waiting for the email app to load up.
As such I only read my mail and reply a little on the mobile.
As to the deletions, when I use the web version of Gmail, the deletion causes it to be gone forever and when I go to Outlook on the desktop, the email never arrives since I removed it at the source.

Always been used to fully downloading emails to Outlook 2010 on POP basis. Always ended up keeping too many emails sorted in various folders, and was not always good about back up.
Now trying to be more web/cloud orientated (IMAP basis?), what with both mobile phone and tablet able to see emails and create emails.
But seem to be getting in to a muddle as deletions of messages on Phone or Tablet do not register on Web or on the other mobile device, so now finding I am housekeeping on three fronts, Web, Phone and Tablet.
Is there a way to simplify all this and to see everything in a properly sync'd way?
Any thoughts most helpful.
