Since your system is not made for, or available in the U.S., it's difficult to compare. But, if 10% THD is an actual specification, then yes, that's very high. If it sounds good to you, why worry about what others think of it. Heck, my father is totally happy with the 3" speaker in his 25" RCA TV, and no one can convince him that it isn't very good.
Hi, the reason im writing this, is because i'm tired of people criticizing my Home Theater system.
This is my system: http://www.sony-asia.com/product/ht-ddw5500?site=hp_en_ZA_i
They say because it has "Total Power Output (1kHz, 6Ohms, 10%THD)" and 10% THD is extremly high (wich i can check with wikipedia, and its true, it says it shouldn't go higher than 1%) this puts me thinking i got robbed by Sony.
But my ear hears great things on my system @ Ps3, XBOX360, Wii, PS2, and the many Bluray movies I've watched on my Series 6 Samsung LCD TV.
How much of this is true? Wich is my system problem? Is there one?
Thanks in advance.
