How are people able to reply to "Closed" threads?

I see people responding to posts that have the "No further replies blah blah blah" text and no "reply" button.

How ya doin' it?

In the URL (in your address/location text box) of the message you want to respond to change the 5208 to 5224 and either press the enter key or click the go button--you will be responding to the message you desire
