How about All-You-Can-Eat Television on iTunes

by Urkel. / September 10, 2008 5:26 AM PDT

With Apple announcing $2.99 HD TV downloads then I've started thinking about what a waste of money that is. Unlike (some) movies and music, most TV shows are usually watched once so what's the point of owning them?

So why not an all-you-can-eat TV subscriptions? I'm not sure what a fair price is, but for many people that would completely replace Cable so even at $40 it would be a "bargain" and would also drive AppleTV sales. It would also help streamline our viewing because with Cable then sometimes we find gems, but most of the time we tend to watch things we have no interest in simply because "it's on" (I, Robot and National Treasure I've unintentionally watched a dozen times).

Anyway, the only problems I see with this are sports and live news.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
