Your current restore CDs will indeed put the machine back to square one. But it's a non-issue as one would install 2003 and it will reactivate without issue.
But I'm on my Windows 2000 box that has not been reloaded in 4 years (since it was installed.) I'd look at why your machine is crashing so hard and fix that.
-> There is another method called ACRONIS.

Unfortunately, I have to fully restore my PC. It came with MS Office (2000 if I recall) but I have upgrade version to get to 2003. When I restore the PC, I'm going to lose the MS Office completely...right?
If that is the case, how do I save MS Office so I can reinstall it without actually having the "full version" of MS Office?
If I'm wrong, what will remain on the PC after the restoration?
Hope I'm making sense. let me know...Thanks!
