I'd tell Big Brother to stay out. But I have to agree on this one. Also the fact that stupid people shouldn't breed. Push the food back or get fat. Pure and simple, and stupidity counts.

Glad you think it's simple.
I'll agree the lawsuits are frivilous and need to be curtailed. And that food manufacturers don't bear responsibility.
Overweight is largely the individual's responsiblity, but I'll tell ya it ain't as easy as
"Also the fact that stupid people shouldn't breed. Push the food back or get fat. Pure and simple, and stupidity counts."
I know DaveK says that homophobia is the last legal discrimination, but I'll vote for the fat people, and we may be the majority soon if not already, so maybe politicians should try to 'woo' us.

I have two female friends that just keep getting bigger no matter how hard they try to lose weight. In fact the more they diet the more they gain. It seems to be true that dieting makes you fat.
And to think when I got married I weighted 108 pounds and I hated the way I looked! I managed to gain 60 pounds over the years in spite of my lousy cooking, ![]()
I think Clay that it was about time the law stamped down on these get rich quick merchants - Not a waste of time at all I.M.O.
corn that makes that high fructose corn syrup that's in everything. Ever looked on the list of ingredients lately?
Just looked at the list of ingredients on Coffeemate and it says that it has 0 sugar but the first ingredient is corn syrup solids. How is that possible? I do know that my blood sugar spikes when I use it.
Hi, Diana.
They still subsidize tobacco, don't they? And that's still worse than Coke syrup!

Corn is at the top of the list. Did you notice it gets twice as much as the next one on the list - wheat? When I was taking swine production, I learned that 50% of all corn was fed to pigs. Wonder if that's still true or if it's fed to the human pigs in the form of high fructose corn syrup?
Why don't we subsidize green beans or strawberries or fruit trees or something that's good for us? How come apples get subsidies and not other trees?
Like the hearings on steroids in Baseball. That's where I want my congress investing all their time and efforts. That pollution and poverty crap will take care of itself.
Sheeze! ! !

I think they should ban all frivilous lawsuites and free up the courts time and the taxpayers money.
I've always been interested in inter-relationships - i.e. individual metabolic rate, absorption of vitamins and minerals, mycotoxins etc (good or bad), and the body's natural compensatory reactions to any dietary inputs.
For anyone who can afford to spend the next six weeks on one web-site, try this one, which gives a massive amount of information on all aspects (including additives and processing info) and includes a number of "de-bunking" articles.
It is entirely up to you as the reader, of course, to decide which ones you take notice of. The site is:
