Who cares?

Who cares? What does a game's popularity have to do with anything? Shouldn't it come down to: Is this game fun to play or not?

I'm just getting around to playing the original Gears of War, and frankly, I'm a bit underwhelmed by it. Assuming Final Fantasy XIII were out or even Star Ocean 4, I'd be much happier getting one of those compared to Gears of War 2.

So again, shouldn't it be more about what games are fun to play, not which have a bunch of hype and marketing behind them?

True, depends on which side of the fence you are on. If I play a video game it may not even be from any of the next generation systems. I myself am looking to find out what is hot, not popularity as far as marketing and promotion wise, because every game is hot in the eyes of it's own company and the magazines that advertise it. What is hot between actual real gamers. People who sit on the couch and call in late to work because they have 150 kills in Call of Duty and they are trying to get to 170 by 4 pm.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
