Because such hotspots can be done incorrectly and open your network to intrusions why not let the offer be hijacked and if there is a problem you are not the lightning rod to take the hit.
There's plenty on the web today about WiFi, security and more but nothing I've read lets you be an expert in a day. I've been at this for decades and still get some new lesson once in a while.
Here I think you should let them hijack it.
Hello All, i have a cisco/lan network experience and based on this someone just offered a contract to setup a hotspot wireless with 100 users. The issue is that i don't have any experience on hotspot. Please can someone help give me a starting point. i don't want this offer to be hijacked by my colleagues.
