But lose on size and weight. If it's games you want then CRT is the clear winner!!! This is where you call your friends over to help you lift it. John
Ok, so i'm either getting a 34" Sony WEGA CRT, or one of a number of 32" LCD's i've examined (either a Samsung, Sharp, or Toshiba) that i'll be looking at in further detail on Monday. For a TV that will be used promarily for games what TV is the best way to go? The CRT? or the LCD? The CRT supposedly looks better but it's 190 freakin pounds and i'm worried about images looking soft and having geometry issues, however the LCD is nice and thin and light and the Toshiba is only $800 but may not have the CRT's black levels and I hear Samsungs tend to have issues with games (ghosting). I DON'T want to hear about how I should use this for cable and movies or that the screen is too small, i've been researching this for weeks with the gracious help of people here on the CNET boards and this will hopefully be my final question.
