hope this is not too redundant

the Audio stopped on movie maker. windows 8.1.
trouble shot everything but still cannot fix it. it was just working while i was working on it.

Most common? Incompatible encoding in source media.

There are tomes about this but my solutions over the years are:

1. Transcode it with apps like HANDBRAKE.
2. Use other video editors.
