I had thought leukemia was one of science's relative success stories, like lymphatic cancer, which used to kill almost 100%

than adult. Most childhood leukemias now have cure rates of 80-90%, while most adult-onset leukemias have much worse prognoses at present.

Also, I just learned today that more adults have it than kids. (Kids get more ink, of course.)
