Hooking up 2sd computer to wi fi

My husbands computer wi fi lite is on but is not connected .
I need to get the wi fi connection working on his lap top.
My lab top wi fi is connected and working.
Help Don't know anything about this

Has it ever worked? Most of the time the light being on means the card is on only not that it's connecting. I would check the version of the driver first on his PC. If not current you can download it on your laptop and copy to a flash drive and install the updated driver on his machine. Otherwise the maker of the laptop should be able to help you or even your internet provider.

It worked till I changed the password on mine . it is working but not hooked up lite is on

What password? The BIOS password, your Windows password,...?

Or maybe the WiFi password, using the router management page in your browser and the WiFi connection properties? Then change it in the connection properties of your husband also! The easy way to do that: delete it and reconnect with the new password, just like you did when he first connected with that laptop.
